thought of the day

Why is "I" capitalized, while other pronouns such as "me", "you", "he", "she", and "it" are not?
This makes no sense. Other languages don't capitalize "I", but then again those crazy Germans capitalize all nouns, which makes even less sense.
Let's Google it and see what we find....

Here are 16 things about myself:

1. I will try everything 3 times. Everything.

2. I have not been to Australia, South America, or Antarctica. But I intend on going to each at least once before I die.

3. I have never had a bloody nose.

4. I have over 200 National Geographic magazines.

5. Once I super-glued my finger to a VHS tape of The Emperors New Groove.

6. I have a high self esteem. If you would like some, I’m good at sharing.

7. I have one sister, one half-sister (but as whole of a sister as you can find), two step sisters, one step brother, and one half-mystery-sister I’ve never met.

8. I have an intimate relationship with the ocean.

9. Live music makes me feel unexplainably happy.

10. My left thumb is shorter than my right.

11. I recently found out I am allergic to hair dye, my only allergy.

12. I only like cats on a cat-to-cat basis.

13. I plan on riding my bike from Bellingham to San Francisco this summer.

14. The 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and Fires is my favorite disaster of all times.

15. I am a huge nerd, ask anyone.

16. I really don't like it when the cheese is next to the mustard on a sandwich.
